Q2 if bought wood or metal?

approx 1M x 2M footprint, it will have a solid plinth to level the floor with no rat nest space

At our age we should take the easy option, but we rarely do!!!

I'd go for a wooden one

Neither are completely rat proof, but think metal might be slightly more so. On the other hand, most metal ones are rather flimsy, but as not a big shed that shouldn't matter too much.
