For Sale 9.5acres for 30-50k. I reckon you'd get planning permission there.

You'd be morally obliged to grow a huge handlebar moustache and address everyone as 'Old Chap'. It would be fabulous!

the tower is scheduled so would probably not be a good house conversion bet ,the 9.5 acres might get ag use (and some sort of home pp.)

it might be a bit "interesting" to plough or dig as there was some dodgy housekeeping with ordinance at times.

as it is a "moor" i assume it is a bit exposed and probably isolated

on the plus side the obligatory giant mustache is quite a selling point

It's not a "moor" . It's just outside Winkleigh. Commuting distance to Exeter.

We bought a house at auction and in my experience the guide price bears little resemblance to the final selling price. We were out bid on our first choice although we thought we had left a sufficient margin. It would be interesting to see what it actually goes for.
