We can leave it as long as it needs because as you may imagine, we have quantities of the stuff. And it does heat up. We have a metal rod in the heap and it gets very hot at times.

It does have a fairly open shape but could be opened up a bit more. I suppose I will have to wait until winter to prune it. Drat! I was hoping for fruit this year.😐

The French, so I am led to believe, refer to Kiwi Fruit and souris vegetale - vegetable mice. Does eating the skins cause you to cough up pellets, as it does to birds of prey?
