Ignorant question - is this why they used to dip sheep? Is it no longer a legal requirement? Does anyone still do it? I haven't heard of sheep being dipped since I was very young. |

I never rely on the thermometer for jam, mainly because I can never actually get the temperature to 'setting point'. The saucer test I've found is the most accurate, it's never let me down yet. |

I had assumed that if fruits were appearing at all that meant they were pollinating. Is that not the case? Do I just need to dab in each flower with a paintbrush to pollinate? |
