I would leave the hen on her own with the chicks, she'll most likely attack the other chickens (well mine would)
However once the chicks hatch you do need to make sure that they can't fall out of the ... |

We were away last week and our normally free-ranging hens were shut in.
As a result they have started egg eating and I'm gutted.
I usally get about 6 or 7 eggs a day and at the moment I'm lucky if ... |
