Having been trying to teach myself MS Project and already have to solve two problems which I can't seem to find an answer to in either the help files or google...

Does anybody know if you can

1) Set holidays on specific tasks such as tasks which are being completed in another country.
2) Is it possible to create alternatives to test two different scenarios?

Thanks!

MS Project is the most piggin' awful piece of software I have ever encountered and can basically does whatever it wants to and leaves you head scratching as to why on earth it has now scheduld an extra two days off for you this week and moved all your tasks to start on Monday or something equally wierd,

That said, the solution to the first one is to create a resource with the appropriate holidays and assign the task to that resource. For the second problem you could probably do it by using the baselines feature (never tried that though so no guarantees)
