I ask on behalf of somebody else, so can't do any looking through folders.

Does Win10 have a built in back-up system so you can hit a key or two and back-up to an external drive?

If not, can anybody recommend suitable software to do this?

Thanks

Henry

Thanks for that vegplot. All I have to do now is explain that to the person who replied, when I said "you can probably back up to a plug in hard drive" replied "What's a hard drive?". She will not know what drives are, what folders are or what files are, nor how to find any of them. Where's that emoticon of somebody climbing a steep hill whilst banging their head against a brick wall?

Henry
