Lots of bullaces round us here and we picked loads from a friend's garden to make bullace wine in the autumn. Friend's bullace wine delicious, but don't know yet if ours will be as good....

The flower on the mirabelles has been really lovely this year. The blackthorn is still coming into flower, and is creeping up the hill as always. Won't believe we have seen the last of winter until the flowers are over.

Nats, your Mums cousin does a good job at Blackmoor.
