...might help if I tell people what I've supplied.

It's a high resolution .pdf, suitable for print but Lorraine's Avery label software wants a Word .doc ....I think that's right isn't it Lorraine?

I can open it and see it in full so I obvioualy have adobe on my system, but moving the artwork to the label is the problem.

Im trying to commuincate this as well as I can but Im not experienced in adober and really dont know what Im doing.

Ive been trying all weekend to move it to a 4 label template (4 on a page) but cant. Ive tried emailing people who either arnt around or dont want to know or just are as 'experienced' as me.
I know Ann is busy, but need some help with this.

Go online and search for PDF to word converter online free.
Turn it into a doc and you're done.

Hopefully.

no, not as simple as that - I can do that.

Its okay - we are making progress. I have found in John's huge catalogue of 'things that will be useful one day' a copy of Adobe photoshop 7.
Out all day today, but will try again tonight.

If the problem is what you have supplied, then can you not supply it in a different format?

Alternatively, I think GIMP will open pdf's, and can save them in a variety of formats.

With the newer versions of pdf you can save them as a work doc on the internet then copy it back to your pc. Never tried it but might be worth a go

I can save as pretty much any format but it needs to remain a high res graphic (the spotty dog) and retain the specific font I've used for the heading text, which is critical to the branding/logo.

You can just imagine what Word might do with font replacement!

All is now sorted!
I have to clarify that Ann has done a fabulous job and her artwork looks stunning. The issue has arisen as I firstly didnt have photoshop 7 (now I do) and didnt know how to use it to alter or print. Ive had a lesson this morning from a local photographer who has done a fab job of teaching me all about layers.

Good grief - first Facebook, now photoshop - where will it all end?

Thanks again to Ann who has created a wonderfully visual brand for Spotty Dog Cider.
