Whenever I have looked at buying animals I have always found that the experienced vendors Have a price range knowing that factors such as gender, age, bloodline, size and inherent quality's for breeding into a flock or herd all affect the price. So when selling more than one animal a price range is usually bantered out in the advert or conversation. from there during a serious negotiation the buyer and seller can establish the right animal or animals and agree a price. The only exception would be at auction where only the seller and the auctioneer would know the minimum price wanted and hope that a mug would offer silly money above the real value.
Can I ask mochasidamo why are you avoiding being open from the start what's the big secret ?
