What it says in the title really.
This sofa has been in my family for decades.

It's far too large for our house and also needs re-upholstering.
Three-seater, Chesterfield. The Drop-arm mechanism is still there, but needs re-instating.

It's too good to throw away.

So - anyone want it? - free to a good home.
We are in Nottinghamshire.

I need to know asap as we need the space.

Thanks MS. I'll measure my sitting room (and my car/trailer) and get back to you over the weekend. Will you be at home any time during next weekend - the long Jubilee weekend? If the sofa fits, I could come up to you to collect then.

Hold your horses Nell!

It does look ideal for my (soon to be finished) sitting room. There is an Edwardian sofa already in there (well, shoved in the kitchen at the moment as it's a complete building site), but that will be leaving the premises some time in the not too distant future so it'll have to be replaced with something similar...

Hi MJ

Yes, on current plans we'll be in on most of the weekend except Saturday (when OH's mother & family are visiting) but let us know when and we'll make plans to be here rather than out for a walk or .....

I'm unsure why I am involved, but, you know, just in case, and out of interest, could you PM me where you live (just the town) so I can plan my journey.

Okay - I have measured and the dimensions fit
Sadly Nick cannot help out with transport this time
But I will sort out transport myself anyway.
So, best day to come to yours over the coming Jubilee weekend?
