No personal experience, but both the Oxford Companion to Food (Alan Davidson), and Fauna Britannica (Duff Hart-Davis), say excellent. I hope you're going to register soon BTW

I've never eaten one either but would like to give it a try as I've heard very positive things. Were you fly fishing?

Never caught or tried grayling - but it's on my wish list. Trouble is there aren't any in this neck of the woods and I have trouble fishing the water I have got, considering there's so much of it. Looks like it'll have to be day ticket!

Oh yes Tahir, Girlfriend has a computer. Will probably off line for a wek or two then back. Got to get the job first though. Deerstalker you probably know this but Ewenny in Bridgend has grayling, so has the Taff and the Rhymney. Cheers Aled

Put em back. They look alot better than they taste. When i tryed one i thought that they where more boney than brownies but that just could be me

I'd be inclined to agree that they are 'orrible Seriously, they are very bony, and taste a bit muddy but each to their own, I prefer trout or salmon
